This thesis includes eloquent study for the subject of forgiveness and modesty in the Holy Quran based on the analytic approach of the Quran verses, which stands on using the three eloquence sciences (rhetoric, meanings and figures of speech), to study verses, stating their high rhetoric value, reposing on eloquence and interpretation books and writings of Quran sciences, dictionaries, grammar books as well as the researcher's endeavors.
It is worth to mention that this study deals with forgiveness and modesty verses among people, without dealing with verses including forgiveness of Allah be praised, and verses including the name of Allah, the forgiver.
The research includes two chapters, four researches, an introduction, preamble and conclusion. The first part of the first chapter includes verses that prompt forgiveness and states its benefit and deal with it by eloquent analysis beginning with the general meaning of each verse stating the reason of bringing down-if any- , then showing the relationship of the verse- the study subject- with the holy verses before and after it and its status of context, concluding with the detailed eloquent study of words and structures. Verses number in this part is eleven verses, followed by the second part which includes the verses in which forgiveness comes bearing the meaning of tolerance or combined with it, or bears the meaning of forgiveness, in which she followed the eloquent analysis in the first part, and the verses number in this part are nine verses.
Moving to the second chapter of study, the first part of it contains the verses which directed to modesty, dealing with them by the eloquent analysis as I had stated previously, and the verses number in this part are eight verses, so the total number of the verses of study is twenty eight verses. The second and the last part in this study discusses the eloquent characteristics of forgiveness and modesty in the Holy Quran reposing to verses eloquent analysis, extracting those characteristics from it. |
